A Sound Bath is a deeply immersive, full-body listening experience designed to promote relaxation, mindfulness, and inner balance. This therapeutic session uses sound as a powerful tool to guide participants into a state of deep rest and restoration.
The experience begins with each participant settling into a comfortable position, either lying down or seated, often with a blanket and eye mask to enhance relaxation. After a brief guided focus on the breath, a series of harmonic sounds and frequencies are introduced, creating a meditative atmosphere.
A variety of overtone-emitting instruments are used, including tuning forks, gongs, a shruti box, Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, chimes, and vocal toning. As the sound vibrations fill the space, brain waves naturally slow, shifting from an active state to a more relaxed or even dreamlike state.
This session provides an opportunity to unplug from external distractions, explore self-inquiry, and gain insight into the present moment. Participants are invited to embrace stillness, experience deep relaxation, and emerge feeling refreshed and renewed.
