Heartland Prairie in Full Bloom: Join Ramona for a leisurely hike at Heartland Prairie (near Gordon Moore Park). The asters should be in full bloom and we might even be able to do some volunteer seed collecting for TNI.
Heartland Prairie is off of College Ave in Alton, IL. The turn in is directly across the road from the main entrance to Gordon Moore Park.
Roaming Naturalists is a monthly hike designed for adults (all ages welcome) that want to learn more about the natural world.
Program Fees: Free, but donations are appreciated
Registration Required: No, but preferred (You will receive a reminder email if you register ahead of time.)
