Give Kids A Smile (GKAS) provides FREE comprehensive dental services. Every child seen through GKAS receives age-appropriate dental care, education, and an oral health evaluation.
Children ages 5–14 are seen on the main GKAS clinic floor and may receive:
Oral Examination
X-Rays
Teeth Cleaning
Fluoride Treatment
Hygiene Education
And more!
*Fillings, root canals, crowns, extractions, and oral surgery are completed as needed.
Children ages 12 months–4 years are seen through our Tiny Smiles Clinic, which is designed to help young children establish good dental hygiene habits early on so they can grow up with healthy smiles. Both children and parents/caregivers receive education on caring for little mouths. Children in Tiny Smiles do not go to the main clinic floor, but their teeth are examined to identify any concerns and determine if additional dental care is needed.
Who’s Eligible?
Children between 12 months–14 years, not older than the 8th grade, and who have Medicaid or qualify for the free/reduced school lunch program are eligible for Give Kids A Smile.
Appointments can be made for the clinic by a child’s parent/guardian/caregiver or through groups coordinated by schools, churches/synagogues, and community groups.
