ALTON – Alton is officially applying for grant funds of over $288,000 to cover the cost of several park improvement projects planned around the city.City Council members unanimously approved a resolution on March 25, 2026 allowing the city to apply for Park Enhancement Program (PEP) grant funds from Madison County.
