The open house will focus on implementation of the City's Great Streets Plan, adopted in 2020, with an emphasis on planned improvements along East Broadway between Market Street and Ridge Street. Attendees will have the opportunity to review and provide feedback on conceptual redevelopment scenarios, roadway rebalancing concepts, and streetscape design options intended to create a safer and more attractive corridor.

The event will feature interactive displays and opportunities for participants to speak directly with City staff and project team members. Community input will help guide future planning and implementation efforts as Alton works toward creating streets that better serve residents, businesses, and visitors alike.

The open house is free and open to the public, and participants are welcome to attend at any time during the event.
