A Heat Advisory remains in effect until 7 p.m. for the area, with heat index values expected between 100 and 110 degrees.

The evening stays warm but turns quieter as the sun goes down, with a light north-northwest breeze and gradually clearing skies. Overnight, the air finally eases up, dropping to a low around 65 under partly cloudy skies.
