BETHALTO — Bethalto Police executed a search warrant Aug. 25, 2026, at Sasa Massage, 408 W. Bethalto Drive, as part of an ongoing criminal investigation into suspected criminal activity at the business, the department said in an Aug. 26, 2026, information release.

The Bethalto Police Department said it was assisted by the Illinois State Police and the Madison County Sheriff’s Enforcement Team in the warrant execution. Bethalto Police said the warrant followed a long-term investigation into the business, which opened in January 2025.

After the search warrant was executed, the Village of Bethalto suspended the business license for Sasa Massage. The village is pursuing revocation of the establishment’s business license based on activity identified during the investigation, police said.

The investigation remains active and ongoing, and police said no further information will be released at this time. Additional details will be provided as they become available and as the investigation allows.
