The most crowded County Board race was for the two open District 4 seats sought by four candidates, including two Republicans and two Democrats. Republicans Linda Schaake and Douglas B. Figge Jr. secured the two open seats with 39% and 35% of the vote respectively. Democrats Alan Milton and Bryan Lankford both lost their bids, each earning 13% of the vote.

In uncontested Jersey County races, Republican Peggy A. Portwood was unopposed in her bid as the next Jersey County Clerk. Portwood replaces County Clerk Pam Warford, who chose not to seek re-election after first being elected in 2014 and serving three four-year terms in office.

Incumbent Treasurer Rebecca Strang secured re-election unopposed as a Republican. Strang was first appointed as acting treasurer in April of 2025 to fill the vacancy left by former treasurer Katie Abbey, who resigned from office less than a month before being charged with stealing over $10,000 in taxpayer funds by the Illinois Attorney General’s Office.

Incumbent Sheriff Nick Manns was also unopposed in securing re-election as an Independent candidate. Manns was first elected sheriff in 2022, defeating then-incumbent Mike Ringhausen.
