For his kindness, Anthony Harvey is a Student of the Month for Edwardsville High School.
Despite only being a freshman, Harvey has already made waves at EHS by being an upbeat, energetic presence at the school. He makes it a point to showcase a positive attitude every day.
When he isn’t busy with his schoolwork, he can be found exercising or playing video games. Harvey also loves to paint and has shown impressive talent. He enjoys art and looks forward to creating more in the future.
Harvey tries hard to make his community a better place. He regularly picks up trash in his neighborhood, an act of service that goes far beyond the actual hours he spends picking up litter. His dedication to helping others, beautifying his neighborhood, and engaging with his community has not gone unnoticed.
Though he isn’t yet sure what he wants to do after high school, he has plenty of time to decide. He knows he hopes to attend a four-year university and receive a bachelor’s degree.
His teachers and loved ones — including his younger sister Destiny — will be cheering him on as he is sure to find success. He also enjoys spending time with his dogs, Lucy and Pecan. His gentleness and kind heart will guide him as he completes the next few years of his high school career.
