EASTLOUIS – A woman from Florissant, Missouri, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, admitted stealing $170,000 in Social Security benefits after the death of a relative.Laneka Holmes, 45, of Florissant, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in St. Louis to one count of theft of government money.
