For her hard work, Madie Egelhoff is a Student of the Month for Southwestern High School.

Egelhoff, a senior, has been a part of the band and colorguard program at Southwestern since she was a freshman. She currently serves as the captain of the colorguard, a role she deeply enjoys.

Egelhoff is a member of Southwestern’s award-winning Scholar Bowl team. Her academics are equally as important to her as her extracurriculars, and she was recently named an Illinois State Scholar. This impressive honor recognizes Egelhoff as one of the top students in her class.

In her free time, Egelhoff often volunteers at blood drives, and she gives blood whenever she can. She enjoys reading, playing pickleball with her friends, and traveling.

She has big plans for after graduation, and her loved ones and teachers can’t wait to see her embark on this next chapter.

“I plan to attend Lindenwood University to study radiologic technology,” she shared.

Congratulations to Madie for this recognition from Southwestern High School!
