Dr. Turkson earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch.B.) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana. She completed a family medicine residency in O'Fallon where her training included pediatrics, women's health, geriatric care and hospital medicine. New orthopedic and sports medicine provider now available in O'Fallon
O'FALLON, Ill. — HSHS Medical Group welcomes Patrick Reardon, MD, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, to HSHS Medical Group Orthopedic & Sports Medicine - O'Fallon at 670 Pierce Blvd., Suite 200. Dr. Reardon treats patients with knee ligament and meniscus injuries, rotator cuff tears, shoulder conditions and sports-related injuries.
He also performs total shoulder replacement for patients with more advanced joint damage. His practice focuses on helping active adults and athletes return to the activities they enjoy.
Dr. Reardon takes a conservative approach to care, exploring all nonsurgical options before recommending a procedure. He takes time to explain each condition clearly, answer questions and involve patients in decisions about their treatment plan. Dr. Reardon earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences in Toledo, Ohio.
He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, followed by an orthopedic sports medicine research fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
