Her academics are as important to her as her extracurriculars. Harms serves as the secretary of the National Honor Society, and she is also a member of the mathematics honors organization Mu Alpha Theta and Spanish NHS. These organizations require high grades and many hours of community service.

Outside of school, Harms is a competitive dancer in Dazzler Dance Company and Dazzler Dance Company All Stars. She also works as a dance teacher. In her limited free time, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, attending live theater productions and concerts, exploring and shopping.

She has big plans for her life after graduation, and her teachers and loved ones will be cheering her on.

“As of now, my plan is to attend a four-year university in Chicago and study marketing,” she shared.

Congratulations to Rachel for this recognition by Civic Memorial High School and the DD Homes Network!
