Aaron Summers

Aaron Dean Summers, 31, died at 1:07 a.m., Friday, July 13, 2012 at the scene of a two vehicle accident on Route 140 west of Fosterburg Road.He was born in Alton on Feb. 24, 1981 and attended Southwestern High School in Piasa.  He was currently working as a concrete finisher with St. Louis Pre Stress which is a subsidiary of Keller Construction in Edwardsville.In his spare time, Aaron enjoyed motorcycles, hunting and fishing, especially when he could fish with his son & grandpa.Surviving are his parents, Deanne & Tim Richard of Medora; his beloved five year old son, Haiden Dean Summers whom he loved "to the moon and back"; his girlfriend and soulmate, Vicki Nicolas of Alton; three sisters, Amber Summers of Medora, Elizabeth Richards of Davenport, Iowa, and Kimberley Richards of Alton; a brother & his fiance', Christopher Richards & Stephanie Ervin of Wood River; his grandparents, Dean & Clara Huff of Jerseyville, and Vyrlin Richards of Godfrey; his aunts & uncles, Dean Huff of Minneapolis, Mn., and Beth & Chad Hurley of Jerseyville, along with a host of extended and supportive family  members.He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Louise Richards; and his great grandparents, Otis Preston & Hattie Ilene Martin and George & Beulah Huff.Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday.  Father William Hembrow will officiate.Burial will be in the Maple Lawn Cemetery near Medora.Memorials may be given to his family in care of Crawford Funeral Home.
