Anthony Joseph “Tony” Peach, age 69, of O’Fallon, Illinois, passed away September 30, 2026. Born on April 25, 1957 to George and Mona Peach, Tony grew up in O’Fallon and carried a deep affection for his hometown and those in it throughout his life.
He attended St. Clare School and O’Fallon Township High School, where he formed friendships and memories that stayed with him for decades. Hard-working and dependable from a young age, Tony spent many years at Tomboy Grocery Store in O’Fallon. His dedication and steady leadership led him to become Manager of a Tomboy location in East St. Louis, a role he took great pride in. Tony later expanded his professional path, working with Mutual of Omaha Insurance before moving to Chicago, where he applied his creativity and precision working for Arts company CDW in Evanston. There he helped design and decorate many of the clothing and jewelry stores throughout North America and stretch his creative muscles at scale. His time in Chicago was a meaningful chapter, reflecting both his craftsmanship and his ability to excel in varied roles.
He was very active in different organizations throughout his life, having served on the PTA boards of his children’s schools, active in his own and his son’s scouting communities, and serving on his HOA Board in North Carolina.
Above all, Tony was a proud father. His greatest joy was his children, Julia Peach and Samuel Peach, with their mother Jennifer Johnson, and he loved them deeply and spoke of them often.
