Darrell Vinson

Darrell Gene Vinson, 73 of Godfrey, died at 8:30 A.M. on Monday, April 20, 2015 at Rosewood Care Center in Alton, Illinois.

He was born to the late Charles H. & Grace (Wright) Vinson on December 24, 1941 in Harrisburg, Illinois.

Darrell married Tilida Ann (Smith) Vinson. She survives and resides in Godfrey.

Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons and daughter in law; Jeff & Dora Vinson of Godfrey, Illinois, Jason Vinson of Godfrey, Illinois, 2 granddaughters; Alyssa & Shiann Vinson, 1 sister; Carolyn Anderson of Harrisburg, Illinois, 1 brother and sister in law; Jerry Barbara Vinson of O'Fallon, Illinois.

He was preceded in death his parents and brother; John Paul Vinson.
