Donna Y. Evans, 68, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Wood River Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Granite City on March 24, 1947, she was the daughter of August and Yuba (Boothe) Englar.
She had been a C.N.A. at Wood River Twp. Hospital.
She married Lonnie "Buddy" Evans, who died on May 24, 1986.
Surviving are two daughters. Lisa (Phillip) Lemus of Rosewood Heights, Laura Copeland of East Alton; four grandchildren, Tyler and Katie Copeland, Nathan Haynes and Andrew Lemus.
Preceding in death were her parents; husband; and a brother, Alfred Ray Englar.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at 1st Assembly of God Church in East Alton. Pastor Timothy Keller will officiate.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
