JoAnn Berry, 73, passed away 4:05 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 2016 at her residence.
Born in Hardin County, IL on May 21, 1942, she was the daughter of Quay and Elizabeth (Rose) Edwards.
She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 35 years before retiring.
On June 7, 1968 in Shawneetown, she married Ronald Berry. He survives.
Surviving also are two sons, Randall Carter of IL, Derek Carter of East Alton; step-daughter, Rawnie Berry of Bethalto; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at noon Sunday in Rose Cemetery in Hardin County.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
