Kathe “Katie” Jones, 89, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Cedar Ridge Health and Rehab Center in Lebanon.
She was born Dec. 16, 1926 in Germany.
Katie married Emmett Jones in 1946 in Germany. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include 2 sons, Karl Jones of Laurie, Mo. and Joseph Eugene (Cheryl) Jones of Williamsburg, Va.; 5 grandchildren, Tamra McGuire, Kim Davis, Aaron Jones, Kevin Jones, and Kristi James; 9 great grandchildren; and a brother, Karl Ernst Fulgraf.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Judy Jennings.
Visitation will be Friday, May 13 at Paynic Home for Funerals from 12 p.m. until services begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Woodland Hill Cemetery in East Alton.
