Kelly Lee Thaxton, 55, passed away 3:13 a.m. Sunday, March 5, 2017 at her residence.
Born in Alton on January 31, 1962, she was the daughter of C. Leon and Patricia (Grace) Hendrix.
She married Mark Thaxton, Sr. on June 14, 1991. He survives.
Surviving also are three sons, Andrew (Heather) Flye, Mark Jr. (Maria) Thaxton, David (Ashley) Thaxton; two daughters, Brandy (Keith) Watson, Stephanie Thaxton; 10 grandchildren; a brother, David Whorl; special nephew, Caleb Whorl; and brother-in-law, Ben Wallace.
Preceding in death were her parents and a brother James Whorl.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, March 10 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
