Rebecca Marshall

Rebecca Ann "Becky" Marshall, 30, died at 10:53 a.m., Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Swann Special Care Center in Champaign, Il.

She was born in Jerseyville on Feb. 21, 1981, one of three children born to Randall & Marsha (Nestrick) Marshall.

Becky graduated from Jersey Community High School with the Class of 1999, and was very active in their theatre department.  She attended Illinois State University in Normal, where she majored in education, and being a devout Christian, was active in their Campus Crusade for Christ.

She is survived by her parents, Randy & Marsha Marshall of Jerseyville; a sister & brother in law, Sarah & Jeffrey Moore of Greenville; a brother & sister in law, Daniel & Tracy Marshall of Benton Harbor, Mi.; a niece, Natalie Moore; two nephews, Dylan Moore and Riley Marshall; her grandparents, Fred & Donna Marshall of Jerseyville, and Betty Nestrick of Bloomington; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald Nestrick.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, where funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Mark Scandrett will officiate.

Burial will take place at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.

Memorials may be given to the Swann Special Care Center in Champaign.
