William "Pop" J. Richardson, 75, passed away at 10:27 pm on Saturday, October 7, 2023, in East Alton, IL surrounded by his loving friends.
He was born on August 2, 1948, to William Ronald and Johanna Lucille (Graham) Richardson. He was a graduate of Marquette Catholic High School. He spent many years as a gravedigger before retiring.
William was a member of Restorative Hope Church of God in Wood River, and The Misfits - an organization helping kids in need. In his free time, William enjoyed drinking his beer and spending time with his friends.
William is survived by his special friends, Rodney and Connie Johnson of East Alton, IL and Ashley Rexford of East Alton, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
