The Firecracker Race will again be held on the Mississippi River on Saturday August 9, 2025. Registration is now OPEN. Just as last year, paddlers will race on a 15 mile downriver course from Grafton access to the Alton riverfront. The race will end at the Alton marina. After the race come to the Old Bakery Beer Company, a short walk or drive directly across Hwy 67 for food and drinks. There we will have the award ceremony and raffle starting no later than 3:30. Pre-registration for a reserved dinner is required, or you can order from their menu and bar. Those that chose not to reserve a dinner from us are offered a Race T-Shirt. Free beer for everyone while it lasts. For information on our race website: https://mississippiriverwatertrail.org/firecracker-race/
