Shopping among JCBA participating businesses will kick off the day at 9 am!
At 10 am, grab your family or friends and enter the library's costume contest at City Center! We love seeing how creative everyone gets with their costumes, and it's definitely a crowd favorite event! Get to planning now for your chance to win CASH prizes for best costume, including group and pop culture categories!
Beginning at 11:00 am, attendees can trick-or-treat throughout the downtown State Street businesses (*until 12:15 pm*), enjoy a hot dog courtesy of Royal Banks of Jerseyville, make a craft with the Jersey County Arts Council volunteers, take a hayride, jump on inflatables, and meet animals in the petting zoo. All of these activities are free, open to the public, and available until 1:00 pm.
In order to fully staff the festival, the library building will open late at 2:00 pm on this date. However, the festivities don't end there!
Grab your gal pals and continue shopping at our amazing local shops, enjoy lunch and spooky-themed drinks at our local restaurants, and enter to win a giveaway basket full of goodies from participating businesses! Shops will be open until 3 pm specifically for the day!
