Pianist Sun Hye Chung, violinist Mu-Chi Hsieh, and cellist Marie Brown are excited to host a fundraising piano trio concert for tornado victims of St. Louis on August 3rd in Edwardsville. The three musicians, all SIUE alumni, will be presenting well known tunes composed and arranged by Franz Schubert, John Lutter, David Foster, and Sun Ahn. These include the second movement of Schubert’s Piano Trio No. 2 Op. 100, an arranged piece of Amazing Grace and J.S. Bach’s Cello Suite No.1 Prelude, and others.
The upcoming concert is scheduled to be held at Eden Church of Edwardsville at 3PM on August 3rd, 2025. A freewill offering will be taken to support victims of the May 16th St. Louis tornado. Funds will go towards the official City of St. Louis Tornado Response Fund.
