Join St. Louis Classical Guitar for a unique concert with highly esteemed classical guitarist William Kanengiser of the LA Guitar Quartet, as he embarks on a program of music from his new album “British Invasion” accompanied by the Eclipse Quartet, on Saturday, November 15th, 2025 at Salem United Methodist Church.
The Eclipse Quartet and guitarist William Kanengiser form a dynamic collaboration that explores the music of Sting, Led Zeppelin, John Dowland, and The Beatles by way of contemporary composers Ian Krouse, Dušan Bogdanovic, and Leo Brouwer. In this project, Kanengiser pays tribute to a group of English musicians who conquered the musical world with their revolutionary explorations. From the Elizabethan lute music to the pop/rock icons, these artists made a lasting impact far from the shores of their small island.
As a founding member of the GRAMMY®-award-winning Los Angeles Guitar Quartet and recognized as one of the USA’s finest classical guitarists, William Kanengiser has given hundreds of recitals and concerto appearances around the world and has recorded over a dozen releases. The Eclipse Quartet are a Los Angeles-based string quartet of four women musicians dedicated to the music of twentieth century and present-day composers.
