Join Alton Memorial Hospital for a Severe Storm Spotter Training program taking place March 24 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. alongside NOAA, the National Weather Service, and Madison County EMA. The program will be held in Cafe Dining Room A & B.
Become a trained storm spotter and learn the basics of thunderstorm development, what to look for, how to report information, and how to stay safe during severe weather. Alton Memorial Hospital and Madison County Emergency Management Association are co-hosting a Severe Storm Spotter Training led by meteorologists from the National Weather Service and National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Snacks and beverages will be provided, and attendees will be entered into a drawing for prizes, including weather radios and safety kits. To register for this event, contact Aaron Rogers, environmental health and safety and emergency manager at Alton Memorial Hospital, at aaron.rogers@bjc.org.
