Jerseyville is capping off America’s 250th celebration with a day full of fun, food, music, and community.
Start the morning off at 7 a.m. with a Color Run at Wock Lake! This Color Run is sure to be fun for the entire family, whether you want to walk, run, or cheer on participants from the sidelines. Coffee, juice, and donuts will be available for all attendees!
Next, at 9 a.m., head to Lion’s Club/Wittman Park Courts for the USA 250 Pickleball Tournament presented by The City of Jerseyville and the Jerseyville Players Club.
At 11 a.m., the Jerseyville Splash Pad will be open, with a bounce house for kiddos who want to stay dry, and food pop-ups to enjoy.
At noon, Jerseyville’s first-ever Watermelon Eating Contest will take place! Still full from those free donuts at the Color Run? Sign up for our Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest! From noon to 4 p.m., listen to live music from Backwoods Burden Band, featuring country, rock, alternative, pop, and more.
