For fifty-four years, the Alton Area Landmarks Association has invited the public to view some of the most historically and architecturally significant homes and buildings in Alton at their annual Historic Building Tour. This year, Hayner Library is hosting the AALA as they present highlights from the 2026 building tour from the comfort of the Genealogy & Local History Library. Learn about the fascinating and varied histories of the homes and buildings featured on the 2026 tour.
